Serious Light for Serious Riding
The Fenix BC45R is a high-performance bike light built for riders who need maximum visibility on fast roads, technical trails and unlit country lanes. It has a peak output of 3300 lumens and a beam distance of 286 metres, turning night rides into something close to daylight.
Dual Beam System
The BC45R combines two independent light sources in one unit. A Luminus SFT-40 LED drives a focused, long-range spotlight. Four Luminus SST12 LEDs power a wide floodlight for close-range coverage. Use either one on its own or run both together to create the beam pattern that best suits your speed and terrain.
Nine Lighting Modes
Choose from High Beam, Low Beam and special modes, nine in total:
- High Beam: High, Medium and Low settings for long-range visibility
- Low Beam: High, Medium, Low and Eco settings for wider, closer coverage
- Turbo: A 3300-lumen burst for maximum light when you need it most
- Flash: A pulsing output that makes you highly visible to other road users
Real-Time OLED Display
A built-in OLED screen shows your remaining battery, which light sources are active and the current lumen output, so you can manage your runtime with confidence.
Wireless Remote Control
The included wireless remote mounts within easy reach on your handlebar. It gives you instant access to Turbo and Flash modes without taking your hands off the grips.
Long-Lasting, Replaceable Power
The light is powered by two replaceable Fenix ARB-L18-3400 18650 Li-ion batteries, which are included. Runtime reaches up to 59 hours in Eco mode. Recharging is simple via a sealed, waterproof USB Type-C port. Because the batteries are replaceable, you can carry a spare set for extra-long rides.
Tough Aluminium Construction
The housing is made from durable aluminium alloy. It’s IP66 rated against heavy rain and spray and impact-resistant to 1.5 metres, so it’s ready for year-round riding in all weather.
5-Year Warranty
The light is covered by a 5-year warranty. The batteries and accessories each carry a 1-year warranty.

Figures are based on Fenix laboratory testing with two ARB-L18-3400 batteries at 21±3°C and 50–80% humidity. Runtime is measured as the time taken to drop to 10% of initial output, in line with the ANSI FL1 standard. Real-world performance may vary with conditions and batteries used.
