Because it does!
Gerber include it as the knife in their military only weapons and tools pack. That should tell you something.
The blade feels solid, it's bloody sharp, which wouldn't matter because the sheeth includes a sharpener. As for the sheeth, you can ise it in every way imaginable: belt, hip, calf, molle, you name it.
They designed it to enable serviceman to escape downed aircraft, I believe it's actually possible with this knife! -

July 13, 2018Tiny torch that is hugely useful around our property. In a blackout we can run it for ages on low setting; when we want to spotlight a marsupial or light up one of our forest trails, it nails the brief. Only had it a short while, but appears sturdy. That's the 'pros', the con is the cost - but really, if this keeps working as is over a long period, then replacement batteries will be the only, minor, downside. May 26, 2018Daylight should be this torches name. It is so robust and easy to use. The tight beam is fantastic and provides a good 400m of light. The wide beam gives you heaps of area to work with. Charging this torch is the bomb, its so easy put it on and the little magnet does it's thing then bingo its green and good to go
