Built to be versatile and durable, the RAT®-7 features 1075 carbon steel, tough micarta handles and MOLLE compatible sheath. It is a solid survival knife with powder coating on the blade to protect it from the increased corrosion sensitivity of the carbon steel. The knife is enhanced with a micarta handle which feels slightly coarse, making it comfortable to hold while offering a good grip.
