Gerber’s NEW Knives and Tool Range

Gerber’s new range is get everyone pretty excited here. With something for everyone in the knife range and some new updates to the multi-tool range that is sure to please not to mention a different take on something we all need when were out camping or hiking. So let’s get straight into whats new this year and what is hopefully going to make it to our shores.

The Fast Ball – is a stylish flipper that has a smooth and quick opening system that will last the test of time, well Gerber think so with giving it their 25year lifetime guarantee warranty. It is made from the popular CPM S30V steel and has a 7.5cm long blade with that stone washed finish that we have been a custom to seeing from Gerber recently.

Next is the Jukebox – One that i am particularly looking forward to seeing hit our shores wish some groovy scales from turtle shell and a sort or smoke marble i want to call it. It has a front flipper opening system which is fast becoming a very popular and i like it. With what they call a straight sheepsfoot blade shape and great hollow grind combines with a generous deep carry pocket clip making one i will surly keep in my pocket.

Gerber Quadrent – similar in shape to the jukebox but has a great flipper design and i would say a more clean and sophisticated look to it making it in my eyes fall into a more gentleman’s knife category and your newest fashion accessory. Included with a bamboo inlay or a white marble G10 finish will be a great addition to your collection.

Gerber Key note – This is one of the smallest knives that Gerber has done it has a black aluminium or brown handle combine with a satin or black finished blade. Its tiny tanto style blade shape gives it a scraping edge and a cutting edge, it is surprising how little blade surfaace you actually need. Can be opened by a nail or a little starter flipper on the spine to get you going. Great EDC and box cutting it is going to surely find its way into my little coin pocket on my jeans.

Not so much new but upgraded is the Gerber Center-Drive – Same great multitool that has its signature center pivoting axis for the screw head has been beefed up with a great look leather sheath with big bit kit holder. A great brown leather with push stud the bit kit compartment is located at the front which i find highly useful, no more trying to get your fingers into the back of the sheath to get your bits out just easy convent storage.

Bit of a different one to finish is the Gerber Compleat – there are so many feature within this tool i’m sure to miss out on something. its an all in one eating and cooking tool (Compleat). It’s a spoon, fork, knife, spatular, scraper, bottle opener, peeler, tongs and i’m sure i have missed functions. This thing is a light camper/hikers dream super light and all snaps back together to give you a small compact everything you need to cook and eat your food oh and have a beer on the side.
