Simply dry out the matches and the striker surface and the matches can easily be used again. These matches cannot light accidentally, they must be struck on the included waterproof striker surface on the box.

I would tend to agree that the timber on these is a little on the fragile side, but you dont exactly expect a battleship when youre talking about matches do you?
They do what they say though, and theyll start a bushfire in the pouring rain if you command them to do so.
Heck they may even work underwater if the conditions are right. What are those conditions, i hear you exclaim?

The box was evenly split up and added to fire kits that included windproof matches. These are great when you want to make sure you have a dry match to strike.
Only criticism is that some of the timber were very thin and broke trying to strike, total of 3 I found in 80, not too bad.
Would definitely recommend.

These are great. Well priced, gets the job done and offers a better quality alternative to traditionally available matches. Would recommend.
If you’re looking for a storm proof option though, it might be best to select storm proof matches – can’t vouch how these would hold up in a storm
