The D2 Tanto Blade is the most recognisable part of this design. The blade is broad, big and flat ground for extra toughness. The size of the blade, the detent, and the caged ceramic bearings make it extra smooth to deploy, which is very pleasing. The flipper tab also acts as a finger guard which prevents accidental sliding forward of the users hand onto the blade when thrusting it. The handle has a solid feel in the hand as is lined with stainless steel. A reversible deep carry pocket clip and back-spacer with a lanyard slot are built-in the knife which makes it everyday and tactical for anyone.
