The SK1L is designed for carving out spoons or even bowls, but also has the ability to add particular details to your chosen wood-carving project. Exactly like the SK1 Hook Knife, yet is made particularly for those left-handed users. Just like SK1, the cutting edge diameter is 25mm, perfect for small designs.
This hook knife can cut through both hard and soft wood. Accompanied with an excellent U-shaped hook, it is perfect for those left-handed wood-crafters to be able to make detailed cuts or even round out their projects.
The blade is still made from carbon steel and is single-edged. By placing one hand on top the blade; you are enhancing the control of it when in use.

Great knife. Sharp out of the packet. I was tossing up between this and another more expensive hook knife. Glad I chose this one as the handle shape gives you good leverage went you’re peeling away wood. Would buy from you guys again, no dramas.
