I have been looking for a new torch for some time. Browsing the Web I found the elite outdoor gear site and the Klarus A1 rechargeable torch was available and on sale. $49.95, $10 off normal price. Bonus. My research had identified the Klarus A1as the torch that met my criteria
1,100 lumen, rechargeable, 3 power settings, strobe function, solid construction, good battery life and a good degree of water resistance. The fact that the bezel can smash a car window is testament to the sturdy construction. All in all I wish I had come across this torch years ago. Exceeded all expectations, great hand feel and looks good too.
